Job Purpose:
The draftsman will assist in the preparation of design documents and drawings during the execution of a project that is specific to their discipline (Process, Piping, Electrical, Instrument & Telecom, Structure, Architecture, Mechanical, Safety, Pipeline)
General Description:
Directly reporting to Lead Engineer and/or Engineering Manager with the major responsibilities as followings:
- Drafting moderate-to-complex 2D drawings that are specific to their discipline, including P&ID, Layouts, Piping Drawings, E&I Telecom Drawings, Structural Drawings, Architectural Drawings, Safety Drawings, Mechanical Drawings, Pipeline Drawings, charts, schedules, etc.
- Assist Engineers in drafting the 3D model.
- Implementing other assignments as required by Lead Engineers and/or Engineering Manager.
Qualifications and Work Experience required:
Qualification:
The jobholder should hold a technical school certification/degree or closely related Engineering.
Experience & Requirements:
- At least two (2) years of experience in facilities engineering and design.
- Must be a skilled used of AutoCAD.
- Draftsman for Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation & Telecom disciplines familiar with S3D would be an advantage.
- Draftsman for Structure discipline shall be familiar with BOCAD would be an advantage.
- Good skills in MS office.
- Understanding of engineering in oil and gas industry.
- Basic command of English both verbal and written.
- Have ability to organize own work and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work in team environment.
