Painting Inspector

General Description:

• Perform the inspection for painting activities and issue the painting report in accordance with ITP (Inspection & Test Plan) and the approved specification/ the approved procedure/ the approved paint matrix: surface preparation, climate condition, the DFT (dry film thickness) of each coat.
• Update Painting Summary.
• Record the daily job into the Logbook. 
• Issue NCR (Non-conformance Report ) when finding the non-conformance and verify the closure of NCR.
• Coordinate with other QC disciplines as well as Construction Team to issue the IRN (Inspection Release Note). 
• Issue and verify close out of the Painting Punchlist. Combine with Pre-commissioning Team and sub-contractor to identify the outstanding items prior to conducting pre commissioning job and verifying mechanical completion. 
• Check the calibration status of the inspection tool. Record the document, the certificate of inspection tool. 
• Be responsible for storing the relating quality documents during the project carrying out.

Qualifications and Work Experience required:

• Education level: At least college degree
• Professional qualifications: Technology– chemistry– anti corrosion field
• Working experience: At least 3 years of working experience related to quality control
• English skill: Fluently 
• Computer skill: Microsoft office, AutoCad
