The HSE Supervisor shall supervise the HSE compliance of the construction works in accordance with Project Documentation including specifications and the Owner’s guidelines/ procedure to ensure that requirements regarding all standards and requirements are met.
During execution of the works, team members shall live near the project site, be able to work at the site every day and willing to work overtime if required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure that HSE objectives are met.
- Support the HSE Manager in ensuring HSE compliance at work site
- Support HSE manager review the related documents including but not limited to MS-JSA, plan/ procedure manpower documents, equipment/ tool documents from contractor.
- Regular site inspection and supervising the contractors/ subcontractors working at site
- Attend TBM with contractor/ subcontractors working at site.
- Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation
- Ensuring that equipment is installed correctly/safely compliance with owner standards and local regulation
- Report and following the recommendation of accidents/incidents/ corrective action
- Organizing/attending health and safety meetings
- Preparation of HSE weekly report including weekly statistic and observation report to HSE Manager.
- Spot potential hazards, identify safety concerns, and recognize practices that could harm the environment, health, and safety and recommendation for corrective actions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Min Diploma/ bachelor’s degree of labor safety, environmental science, or engineering is preferred.
- 5 years of experience in related field, 2-3 years of experience in renewable sector (PV solar) is referred.
- Proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and reporting
- HSE administration skills, Training / participating in Incident investigation
- Good communication in English.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
- Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to frequently perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching approximately 75% of the time while on project sites. Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment.
- Walking: Ability to walk more than 1 km per day, including across unpaved and rough surfaces when on project sites
- Speech/Reading: Ability to speak, read, and write English, and the official language where is located the project, proficiently and deliver a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
- Lifting: Ability to frequently lift items weighing up to 30 kg and to occasionally lift items weighing between 30 and 45 kg.
- Vision/Hearing: Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
- Tolerance to Extreme Weather Conditions: Ability to work in adverse weather conditions 25% of the time while on project sites
- Safety: Ability to understand and communicate safety precautions when necessary
