Lead Lifting Engineer

General Description:

• Develop and lead Product Part Approval Processes (PPAPs), process / product verification efforts, quality system audits and supplier surveillance program.
• Assure quality through approval of Manufacturing Process Plan (MPP), Product and Process Quality Plan (PQP), product quality reviews, verification of quality documentation, monitoring of compliance and PPAP closure in compliance to APQP4Wind and GE procedures.
• Manage supplier deviations and non-conformities and minimize Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).  
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis) for process improvement, and preventive / corrective action as required.
• Lead process improvement efforts using GE Renewable Energy Quality systems, tools and procedures. Leverage statistical tools for evaluation of process capability on critical-to-quality (CTQ) part / component characteristics. Ensure return of experience from Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at the assembly shop and site feedback and incorporate key customer critical-to-quality parameters in supplier processes.
• Participate in supplier design / engineering review and approval process and internal NPI (New Product Introduction) process.

Qualifications and Work Experience required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 05 years of quality process experience within offshore wind project
• Have experience in working with AutoCAD or something similar. As an individual you have an analytical and problem-solving mindset to overcome challenging tasks throughout the process.
• Fluent English language skills.
