Lead Risk and Interface

Work Location: HCM City

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable to the Project General Manager on matters concerning risk and interfaces, reporting and potential risk mitigation Lead the development of the project’s risk, opportunities and issues (ROIs) analysis and management strategies
  • Participate in the assessment of project risks
  • Report the risk position of the project to the project controls manager and project manager
  • Advise the management team on changing risks and emerging threats
  • Produce and maintain a Risk Management Plan for the project
  • Track risk responses and interface with risk owners to ensure successful delivery of risk reduction actions
  • Provide forecasts of management reserves to be held at Project and EPCI Levels
  • Facilitate risk reviews and workshops
  • Maintain Risk Registers for the Project
  • Produce Monthly risk input to reporting, including OPR
  • Conduct internal and external interface workshops to identify all known interfaces
  • Produce and maintain an Interface Management plan
  • Anticipate and understand interface demarcations on documents such as EPCI contracts, P&IDs, Plot Plans, installation drawings etc…
  • Work with PMT and EPCI Contractors to ensure interface responsibilities are understood and potential problems identified
  • Review detailed design documentation to assess consistency in the demarcation of interfaces
  • Focal point for EPCI Contractors for all interfaces with other Company Contractors. Prepare training in use of the Interface Management System and use the inter-EPC Contractor data as a reference
  • Prepare and conduct interface reviews with EPC Contractors in critical areas such as installation commissioning and start-up
  • Maintain Risk Registers for the Project
  • Monthly forecast closure of interfaces
  • Issue regular interface management reports to PMT management
  • Part of the day-to-day interface between the PMT and EPCI contractors
  • Participate in key Company reviews and meetings as required
  • Participate in project reviews and EPCI sub project reviews

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • B.Sc. Engineering
  • Minimum 12 years post graduate experience
  • Minimum 7 years experience in the designation or as a Project Engineer involved with design and construction on a major offshore project
  • Work experience in multi-project environment i.e. Multiple EPCI’s
  • Demonstrable construction and installation experience
  • Experience in interfacing between design and construction, installation, commissioning
  • Understanding of external interfaces and their interactions. Desired: 7 years experience in projects in SE Asia
