Project Scheduler Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and manage EPCIC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning) schedules for the project, including determining the critical path, linking logic (preceding and succeeding activities) in accordance with the work scope to be implemented under the contract
  • Assess the project progress of the contractor using Primavera P6 software
  • Responsible for compiling data based on the actual status of the project with the coordination of supervisors
  • Point of contact for data collection and issuing weekly and monthly reports with the coordination of supervisors. Highlight the project’s key points, encountered issues, actual achievements, manpower, and onsite equipment, etc.
  • Prepare S-Curves, Manpower Histograms, and Tables/Charts for monitoring project progress for each phase of design, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC)
  • Prepare completion curves and assess completion progress for action planning in case of delays
  • Prepare plans based on the approved construction schedule and the actual work of subcontractors
  • Update mechanical completion and commissioning progress based on ITR status on a weekly assessment basis
  • Attend weekly meetings with clients and main contractors, disseminate project information based on the updated master plan
  • Participate in the bidding team, understand documents related to schedule and plan in the tender dossier, breakdown bid quantities, and evaluate the technical aspect of contractors’ bids to complete the tender dossier correctly and in line with the established plan
  • Study documents, standards, and prepare templates for the project to execute Planning Engineering tasks
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Department/Division leadership.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduated from a regular university program or higher in at least one of the following majors: Project Management, Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 03 years of experience in the field of project management.
  • English: TOEIC 600 or equivalent
    • English Communication: Fluent.
    • Technical English: Able to understand specialized documents.
  • Minimum achievement of Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent;
  • Proficient in project management software such as Primavera
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills, presentation skills, knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 quality management systems.
  • Deep understanding in the field of project management and project execution schedule. Clear understanding of the requirements of each project phase. Knowledge of different cultural environments when working with foreigners. Clear understanding of the policies and regulations of the Corporation, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, and related state laws
