T&I Manager

Work Location: HCM City/Contractor’s office

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for reviewing and defining the T&I requirements for the facilities and ensuring correct implementation during preliminary engineering, detailed design and fabrication.
• Prepare inputs and in-depth review and approval of T&I schedule and provide inputs for project master schedule.
• Review and approve EPCI Contractors’ scopes of work for T&I and technical evaluation, clarification of T&I Contractor proposals.
• Responsible for the T&I Contractors’ planning, execution and progress; highlight problem areas to the Facilities Team during the transport and installation phase(s).
• Review and approve T&I Contractors’detailed installation procedures, planning and execution methodologies, installation engineering deliverables.
• Review and approve T&I Contractors’ manpower plans, marine vessels, mobilization and demobilization plan, etc., to make sure the contractors’ plans are on progress to meet the project schedule.
• Monitor T&I work on a daily basis to ensure T&I Contractors’ adhere to approved work procedures and good industry practices.
• Monitor the performance of the T&I contractors and ensure compliance with the contract schedule, quality and safety targets.
• Interface Coordination with other Project Group personnel and Marine Warranty Surveyor, Certifying Authority Representatives.
• Mentor T&I National personnel as assigned.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Qualified in Technical background
• 20+ years of experience in oil and gas industry, especially for fixed facilities offshore development projects and offshore pipelines.
• 15+ years of experience in T&I activities and at least 10-year experienced in T&I manager / lead position.
• Experienced in development projects of heavy offshore structures, including at least one project with Topside installation by float-over method.
• Have an in-depth understanding of international oil and gas facility codes and standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, BS, ANV, DNV, AWS, ISO, etc.
• Good knowledge of engineering and construction, T&I of oil and gas process system
• Deep understanding of the T&I business.
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment, safety and quality.
• Broad knowledge of engineering in structural, mechanical, piping, subsea pipeline, subsea structures.
• Computer skill: Office software, planning and project schedule software.
• Good command in English, writing, listening and speaking.
• Good mentoring skills
