Job Purpose:
Providing day-to-day pipeline engineering activities and ensure timely completion to the required quality standards.
General Description:
Directly reporting to Engineering Manager / Lead Pipeline Engineer with the major responsibilities as followings:
- In charge of the preparation of the deliverables as per project requirement and schedule in a cost effective manner when assigned by Lead Pipeline Engineer.
- Perform pipeline calculation, compile all pipeline deliverables (Reports, Datasheets, Specifications, Layouts, Drawings, etc).
- Support the Senior Pipeline Engineer in ensuring quality and delivery of pipeline engineering design.
- Ensure alignment with other disciplines on the development of pipeline documents and drawings.
- Assist the Lead Pipeline Engineer in ensuring good quality design outputs as per appropriate international codes, regulations, standards, practices and relevant procedures.
- Implementing other assignments as required by Engineering Manager / Lead Pipeline Engineer.
Qualifications and Work Experience required
Qualification:
The jobholder should hold a Bachelor Degree in Pipeline or closely related Engineering.
Experience & Requirements:
- A minimum of 05 years of experience in oil and gas including design, construction of offshore pipeline.
- Good knowledge of design, construction, testing and installation of offshore pipeline.
- Experience with Pipeline requirements for offshore applications.
- Good understanding of applicable Codes, Standards and certification requirements for offshore facilities, particularly relating to safety of design.
- Experience in used of proprietary pipeline analysis software (i.e. Ceasar II, OFFPIPE, SAGE Profile 3D, ANSYS, etc).
- Must be a skilled used of Autocad.
- A good command of English both verbal and written.
- Have ability to organize own work and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work in team environment.
