Piping Engineer

General Description:
Directly reporting to Engineering Manager / Lead Piping Engineer with the major responsibilities as followings:

• In charge of the preparation of the deliverables as per project requirement and schedule in a cost effective manner when assigned by Lead Piping Engineer.
• Perform piping calculation, compile all piping deliverables (Reports, Datasheets, Specifications, Layouts, Drawings, etc).
• Support the Senior Piping Engineer in ensuring quality and delivery of piping engineering design.
• Ensure alignment with other disciplines on the development of piping documents and drawings.
• Assist the Lead Piping Engineer in ensuring good quality design outputs as per appropriate international codes, regulations, standards, practices and relevant procedures.
• Implementing other assignments as required by Engineering Manager / Lead Piping Engineer.

Qualifications and Work Experience required:
Qualification

• The jobholder should hold a Bachelor Degree in Piping or closely related Engineering.

Experience & Requirements

• A minimum of 05 years of experience in oil and gas including design, construction and/or modification of major offshore piping system.
• Good knowledge of design, construction, testing and installation of offshore piping systems in offshore platforms.
• Good knowledge of onshore fabrication sequences/methods and offshore piping structure installation/transportation methods.
• Deep understanding of applicable Codes, Standards and certification requirements for offshore facilities, particularly relating to safety of design.
• Must be a skilled used of S3D, Autocad. Working knowledge of proprietary piping analysis software (i.e. Ceasar II).
• Must be a skilled used of S3D, Autocad.
• A good command of English both verbal and written.
• Have ability to organize own work and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work in team environment.
